@Mff73 that or @isazi should propose me as the niche user/tester that can tackle all the wrong stuff and cause bugs 🙂 I am sure the devs will hate me and my tickets (I promise to be detailed :)). Having SW background it should be no brainer assigning me 😛

@EzioAuditore not a matter of right vs. wrong, just a matter of features used

My Vertical have a daily battery consumption of 10-12% with no activities recorded.
My battery drainage is back again.

Did charge my watch 2100 to 100% on Sunday, and now Tuesday it’s 80%.

@Iggge Same here. Charged mine to 100% 24 hrs ago and it is down at 91%. No activity. Just normal wear. I think it may have to do with the Android app since I am still on the 2.33.16 version. App was updated Aug 21 (4.97.7).

Just saw there is another update for the app. I will update and monitor the issue.

Definitely not related to android or iOS app as I have the latest iOS and experience drains as well . 9% yesterday in 14 hours also without training , just normal wear

My personal workaround while we wait for a fix is: if you use navigation just reboot your watch at the end, after syncing the activity with your phone.

This is my personal view, nothing from Suunto

I managed to send logs to Suunto and hope a fix for this will be included in the next firmware. I also believe it is not the GPS but the storage that is kept active, GPS would give an even larger battery consumption. No confirmation from Suunto yet. I try to keep the forum informed as much as I can 🙂

Hello, have you tested with last fw update (->navigation issue trigger) ? It seems that there are some fixes in update of yesterday (but not 100% if i well understood…🙂)

Last night 14% battery lost without use.
I’ll try to update to latest software, I updated Race S yesterday.
Now SV battery lasts similar than Race S, around a week…

I agree, we got 2 comments at some points from testers, alert users.

                                • one is that some of battery drainage were fixed along with this release (.37)

                                • the other is that a hot fix is coming in a couple of weeks regarding battery issues, to close that story once for all, with all thenuse cases reported here.

both comment may be true I guess. they may also have introduced the new log system along with the firmware just released, that will help to get feeback from real life usage, and make sure the hotfix is correcting everything related to battery usage.

On day 6 now with my watch with two running exercises. Battery left 35%. Right now I need to have it in battery saving mode. Can’t charge it either because I forgot my charger 🫠

How does your “battery drain” manifest itself?

I have had my Vertiacl for 11 months now and have not had a single problem so far.

@Sportsfreund For me, with about 1 hour of cycling and 1 hour of running a day (plus some jump rope), the battery drops around 10% per day. So I end up charging it roughly every 10 days.

@Matthieu_45 A fix is on the way. I turned off notifications, and also disabled sleep tracking and 24/7 HR tracking. It’s much better now, but the battery issue is still real. I read somewhere that a fix is currently being tested.
