@Mff73 this is really too much 🥲

Yes, 14% is too much battery for my activity of today 😂.
For non activity drain, I will keep zen, waiting for next fix.

        Hi everybody !

Just send my drain watch for this week.
        Started last Sunday with 89%.
        Today 30% of charge.
Activities: 2 run for a total of 1h30 and 1 nordic walk of 2h.
        HR ON
        Sleep OFF
        Notifications ON
        Performance Mode activate during activities
No wipe since the last update

That seems to me too much draining batterie.
For me, this is not due to activities but only when the watch is on my wrist and overtime not wearing and face down.

My feelings since I’ve bought this watch are degraded because the watch was more efficient when I started use it last year.
Every updates downgrade the efficience of this product.
        That’s a pity…

Odd one - idle Vertical screen showing this:

          Weird 1.jpeg

Watch placed on surface while still displaying the just-saved-activity screen. Left untouched for 15 mins or so. Returned to normal “Data” watchface with time resumed & more plausible step count when picked up.

This might be a bug but it involves unusual power use so I’m putting it here. FW 2.37.48.

          Anyone else seen the same?

@Fenr1r I also already noticed that incomplete display 1 or 2 times. It doesn’t really bother me as everything is back to normal after pushing one button. It is just a small display bug.
I would prefer Suunto to keep working on serious issues (battery drain for people still impacted, …).

Here is my feedback after latest update:

            • no more battery drain after hiking activity with route navigation. Good job Suunto 👍
I only tested with one little hike around my place and I still have to check in real life hikes in the coming weeks
            • I have charged my watch to 100% few days ago and I keep an eye on battery consumption, but I didn’t notice abnormal battery drain these last days.

Yes totally agree — but the most thread here is "what Sports mode is missing for the next Update 🥴 they should solve real Problems. I have lost all maps on the watch while record a walking Activity. And had very strange Display error while switch the Suunto+ App while i was Walking. Watch completely down and automatically Reboot.

I think this has been explained a couple of times…this is a community forum. Not an official Suunto wishlist forum
Everything can be discussed here, but Suunto decides if, when and how it will be implemented.

                  Hello forum,

iam new here due to the battery drain problem.
Due to a updating error of myself (did not plan to update to latest firmware soon) , i have now 2.37.48 on my watch…

My intention is to let you guys know how big the impact on my usage of the watch is.
Before the upgrade with 2.33.16 it was easy possible to reach 4-5 weeks without charging with my usecase:

                  HR ON
                  Sleeptracking ON
                  SPO2 ON
                  Notifications OFF
                  Airplanemode ON
evertime with GPS Performance and routenavigation
                  10 hours training per week

Now with the latest software my watch uses 4,3% power every day and if that holds on, the battery is in 23day empty.
I will now full cycle the watch and report again by time.
But for me its clearly a sign that something strange is going on here and Suunto has to adress this problem carefully.

Iam very happy with the Vertical since 6 month but the decrease in batterypower sucks a little bit.
Hope Sunnto can fix this soon 🙂

Not Vertical, but S9PP. The battery itself was replaced a while ago, so it’s not old. It started to act up after the last update. I have charged it yesterday in the morning to 100% and now (after 24h) it shows only 90% of battery. Tried to change watch faces, doesn’t help. It’s discharging really fast and I hope Suunto is aware and able to fix it soon. Just FYI.

Indeed, there are still problem of battery drain on all watches.
Last fw update didn’t solve all issues

For me after last update it helped to drain battery completly, that after 1% i turned it on and off (watch) few times, than charged it 100%. Losing 4%/24h with 1h non gps train. Before that like double of that. Vertical.

@Antoine It strangely solved the issue on my Vertical, but on S9PP it’s worse.

In my case (9PP too), if the watch rests in the drawer, the consumption is minimal and similar to the first day. And during sports activity I understand that it has not worsened substantially. However, if I use it beyond sports activity, as a daily watch, the consumption shoots up.

@Klaane My experience vith SV (non-solar) is as follows: in exactly 10 days, the battery charge dropped from 100% to 27%, with the fact that during this time I played sports for 7.5 hours (trail running and MTB). I estimate that the watch consumes 4%-5% of energy per day (with 24/7 OHR), and during sports training 3%-4% per hour (full performance mode).

After update to 2.37.48 situation is as follows: in exactly 7 days, the battery charge dropped from 100% to 74%, with the fact that during this time I played sports for 2,5 hours (trail running and nordic walking). I estimate that the watch after update consumes 2.5%-3% of energy per day (with 24/7 OHR), and during sports training consumption is the same 3%-4% per hour (full performance mode).
I am more than happy with this results☺

Very happy with my battery performance as it is more or less in line with Suunto’s sales blurb.

I think battery drain issue is not yet solved.

First of all my SVTS has notifications, sleep, 24/7 and backlight off.

With the last firmware, just after the update, I did 20 days with around 13/14 hours of activities with GPS (7/8 of them with maps all the time and following a route) + 2 hours of non GPS activities. That is pretty good for me.
But the last charge cycle have been 3.5 days, with 2.5 hours of GPS activities (1.5 hours with one route loaded but not used) and my watch is at 83%.

Consumption during activities is normal and good as always.

I’m quite sure that if I do a soft reset the consumption will be normal again. If someone needs logs, let me know.
