Suunto Message App, doesn't show complete message or a photo

I’m going to start with a comparison I own a Garmin 255 Music (MIP) and a Suunto Race. I do prefer my Suunto Race, however, there are more than a few key features I do prefer my Garmin. One is the messaging app, I never see a complete text, nor does it display a photo, especially one’s I receive from my Ring cameras, while my Garmin watch does. Am I doing something incorrect?

@Michael-Schmidt I don’t think you are doing anything wrong. Suunto’s attitude to the notifications seems to be that they show the first couple of sentences - whether that’s an email, a txt, a social media message etc. Generally this gives you enough to know whether to go to the relevant app on your phone but they aren’t aiming to replace the need to use your phone in most cases.
