I believe that the UI could be improved further in terms of smoothness and responsiveness (eg: scrolling through).

I’m seeing that the competition and new 2024 watches in the same price bracket as the Race S are noticeably more responsive.

@Bastienhere I don’t see any issues with my Vertical. IMO it’s not a computer I am spending a lot of time working on and what negligible lag (which again I don’t see) there may be does not affect the functionality or usefulness of the watch.

@larrybbaker there’s noticeable lag or delay when scrolling or opening menus I’d say (0.5 seconds).
While it doesn’t affect functionality, it does make the user experience a bit lacking…

Here’s a small lag, especially when You leave watch for a while then start scrolling. I get almost to end of the menu list and its starting to go fast, like procesor speeds up. Maybe its to save battery or something.

I rarely notice any lag on my Race S. I’m sure the balance between responsiveness and battery and memory usage is a fine one. Certainly clocking the processor faster will burn more battery and caching of data, while good for reducing processing needs, is always a tradeoff between performance and stale data.

If you are referring mostly to the scrolling of the widget list do remember you can disable widgets you don’t use and you can re-order widgets to move the ones you access most often to the top of the list so there’s less need to scroll 🙂

Thats what i have. Most important widgets at top of list or at shortcuts by holding buttons (upper/down) 🙂
