Maps aren’t showing

I just bought a Suunto Race watch. I downloaded a map, but on my watch I only see a raster (similar as before the map was downloaded), not a graphical map. I can’t get it figured out what I’m doing wrong. Some advice here would be appreciated.

What do you mean for raster ? Maybe an image would help
Did you check the manual ? Did you enable maps for navigation ? -
@sartoric I only see vertical and horizontal line, and my position. But I don’t see a graphical map with roads etc.
How can I ‘enable’ the naviagtion. I checked the manual and downloaded the map. It is also confirmed as downloaded, but I see exactly the same raster (horizontal//vertical lines and my position).as before any map was downloaded. -
@Maarten which map did you load? At wich coordinates you have not map? GPS active and has a fix?

@Egika I uploaded the map of the Netherlands. My coordinates are in the map I downloaded.
