Software Update 2.43.8 (2025 Q2)
-
Just for the record (luckily my life does not depend on it):
Sleep tracking failed after I applied the update. Will do a soft reset and see…When it comes to software, my Race really is an adventure watch.
but I like adventure.
-
It stays in custom battery mode at activity start even if i set same parameters as in performance mode. How can i set it to choose performance mode battery by default ?
-
Is baro sensitivity also updated? I wend bouldering (gym) yesterday and it counted 48m. I always put my watch in pocket when I climb, so there is more than 1m difference when I reach the top and my feet are rarely more than 3m above ground. It normaly counts 10-12m for the session. Graph looks ok. If this is not a mistake, then great
-
@Likarnik no it was not changed
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos weird, I hope my sensor is not faulty
-
@duffman19 I don’t think the maps were any less clear before the update. ’ I personally was very happy with the maps. I don’t understand this change and am thinking about downgrading for the first time. This really irritates me. Sorry.
Of course I commend the other improvements and thank you for them! -
@Likarnik I started the new fw review tests yesterday. After the update, my altitude, which was 100 m, became 104 m. My other reviews and tests continue.
-
@safari the calibration resets afaik after update / reboot
-
I suppose there’s still no interval counter, countdown, or the ability to data affich on the map?
-
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I tried doing a soft reset and then using the “automatic altitude change” feature. I will check again. I have observed an increase in battery consumption now and I am testing it.
-
@safari Dont expect the altitude calibration to be precice in <5m . Its around the 10-15m ballpark. 4m is nothing for altitude calibrations
-
Hm still no update for me.

-
@pavel.samokha What happens if I am not on my regular WIFI…
Will I not receive AGPS updates via BLUETOOTH? -
@Danny-poleg WiFi A-GPS sync is an addition, not a replacement for BLE A-GPS sync
-
Thanks for the update, but …
- Still no native multisport modes apart of triathlon. This is a pity, as it basically makes the watch unusable for sports like duathlon, swim-run, etc., because transitions are lost and it is dangerous to mess around with the watch while competing.
- After each update, most individually configured options for sport modes (e.g. auto lap on/off, auto pause, …) are reset and have to be reconfigured manually for each sport mode. This is a PITA for the user and shouldn’t be hard to change.
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel no update here either for S9PP…
-
@pavel.samokha Thank you very much
I would like to know where I can find more information about the update in English video format -

You can hold upper button during some activity to turn on another activity. This will be a multisport.
Not sure though if it indicates transition times. Also, as far as I remember, there is “SwimRun” app in Suunto Plus.

@fv4500 I’ve just read that S9PP will get it later.
