@Kraisun-Tunta nothing, just wait until it’s fixed in the next software update (allegedly).

@OutdoorMan noted and thank, This topic really needs to be fixed urgently. It’s unbelievable that they’re still leaving it like this without fixing it.

Experiencing the same issue at Suunto Race 2.
          Recovery 28 % watch vs 96 % app
TSS numbers 111 watch vs 110 app
Maybe because of the new watch (6 days)?
And the sleep tracking is really off - reading in a bed, or watching a movie, can easily add 3 hours to the total.
          Synced now, the newest FW.

            Checked now, morning.
Suunto Race 2, FW 2.50.26 - synced, refreshed in apps
W for watch, phone for iOS app, ipad for iPadOS app

            Steps: 2275 W, 2275 phone, 696 ipad
            TSS: 57 W, 55 phone, 55 ipad
            Recovery: 51 W, 79 phone, 80 ipad
            Resources: 91 W, 91 phone, 99 ipad
            HRV (7-day average): 50 W, 49 phone, 49 ipad
CTL, ATL, TSB: all in line
Duration (this week): all in line
Sleep: all in line (but still capturing the book reading as a nap - even resting HR set low)

Is it just me, or somebody else experience the same weird behaviour?
This inconsistency pushes me to get another brand.

Yes, I still have the same issue. Now the numbers are way off - 73% vs 57%

Even with this new firmware, the datat feature still requires a sync to app before showing on the watch. This needs to be calculated on-device just like any other feature like training , sleep, hrv status, training status etc. Having to sync to app defeats the point of having an independent watch.

@Kraisun-Tunta I was thinking about the same just yesterday. Let’s say I buy a second watch, do I have to wear it for two weeks to determine my HRV range again? If yes, will it be the same as on watch one? I guess not, so the current logic has a few flaws.

Not sure if I understand you correctly.
I thought that basic calculations are happening on the watch, and the more sophisticated ones in the app (therefore, sync is needed).
And having the data sync with the app keeps the history and reports possible.
However, if I have such different values for metrics like Recovery, TSS, and Resources, those values become unusable. Which ones are the correct ones? And having different values in iOS and iPadOS is even worse (both refreshed) - it should be using server data, right?
I have never experienced a difference in values (unit vs app) at other brands. A bit disappointing, especially as I like the HW.

I think the concern here is not about advanced analytics, but about basic post-activity summaries that should be available directly on the watch.

For example, after a run, the watch itself should be able to summarize:

                      Total duration

                      Total distance

Basic recovery / rest time indication

These are fundamental metrics that are already recorded on-device during the activity.

On the Suunto Race 2 (for example, on the watch face), I notice that after finishing a run, the data is not updated until I sync with the phone app. If I don’t sync, the watch face still shows old values.

In real use, this is a bit problematic:

Many of us run in parks or outdoors without carrying a phone

After finishing the run, we naturally look at the watch expecting a quick summary

Being forced to sync first breaks the idea of the watch being truly independent

                      To be clear:
I fully understand that more advanced training metrics (Training Load, TSS, long-term trends, deeper analysis) may require app-side or server-side calculations. That makes sense.

But basic summaries like time, distance, and simple recovery indicators should be:

                      Calculated on-device

Immediately visible on the watch, without requiring a sync

This is not meant as a comparison or criticism of other brands, but objectively speaking, many other sports watches can already do this on the watch itself.

I really like the Suunto hardware and overall direction — this is just feedback on user experience. Improving on-device summaries would make the watch feel far more complete and independent.

@Kraisun-Tunta I agree with all the above.

BUT why do the values differ after sync? Which ones are the correct ones?
Like TSS values: the Training Stress is getting only from the watch, but the value in the app differs (even though I expected them as reading from the watch).
And not having the data pulled from the server to iPhone and ipad the same, that is a bit odd. I understand that those are just numbers (correct or not), but having 3 values for one parameter is crazy.
Already ordered another brand. Sorry Suunto.
PS: And it seems I am the only having this issue 😃
