@pavel.samokha I’ve reset the watch 2 or 3 times and it is the same. It looks to be an issue with areas that have been micro-mapped in OSM (every house, sidewalk, driveway, tree, etc.) as if it’s information overload for the watch. I’ll PM you my location.

My software version is 3.8.1. Türkiye is listed, but no update has arrived. I guess I need to wait for the next version.

I think this updates going to take a bit of patience. Roll out doesn’t seem to be immediate everywhere. Suunto makes us all more patient

I was a bit confused during one of my activities.

Seems that some details that were visible on the watch previously are not visible anymore. For example this oval “track”. It is not available on the watch, but it’s visible in the iOS app. Shouldn’t it be the same?

@Squirrel it seems like in watch we doesn’t properly handle running tracks I will note that

@pavel.samokha That’s what I thought when I briefly looked at OSM. The oval is leisure=track which is correct tagging for a running track. It is important to render them in the maps including watch map. Thanks for reporting it.
Another thing is peaks. I don’t have a new upcoming firmware, (still on 2.50.26) but new maps have no peaks. It would be helpful to have a point indicating a peak. Either with an elevation, like in routeplanner.suunto.com, or just a small triangle. Unless map data is rendered differently in upcoming Q1 firmware that will address that, among other things.

Offline Maps update is done. Now the whole world maps have been updated to the latest version.

There are known issues, they are listed in the starter post.

If you don’t see updates for your maps you may need to check your mobile app to have the latest version or wait for it.

Also keep in mind that you don’t have to update all your maps. We know that update can be slow, so updating just the map you need know can be a good strategy. Also don’t forget to put your watch on charger, and give it a night to download the update.

@OutdoorMan the icons will improve with next update, for simplicity it was decided to use unicode symbols as they were already on (most) watches for this first version of this feature.

I can’t update any maps. I live in The Netherlands and have The Vertical 2. The app doesn’t seem to be upgraded, but I’m not on beta.

Is it known when the roll out for the app will start and/or be final?
