@Nordic_Panda Haha! Looks like a lot to me. I’m really interested in the navigation updates as there have been issues with certain features (turn-by-turn notifications specifically) for quite a while. It looks like they’ve completely overhauled the navigation function. Although it looks promising, I’m crossing my fingers that these changes don’t introduce more problems or overcomplicate things.
City names and map icons are also a big deal. Lots of folks have been asking for labels on the maps.
Also, notification and sound management separated into sport and daily use! That’s a big one for some.
Also, also, alarms for specific days of the week!

@Graysar as usual there will be done a lot that is not mentioned in the release notes. Possibly some bug fixes.

@Graysar best what you can do is report each bug you have in dedicated forum thread and to suunto official support too. Than you have bigest chance it will be solved in future.

@Miroslava Just looked at that fb group and found another interested thing. The author of that post also writes, that the payments are technically prepared but won’t be released with Q1 firmware. He also writes, that Race 2, Vertical 2 and Run are models, that could support payments.

@Graysar Huh? Maybe you’re new to Suunto or GPS watches, but if even half of above list is true, this would qualify as a significant update. Just for some context, you can check out the updates release notes for the original Vertical which goes back to June 2023. Some updates are bigger than others, but I don’t think any included as many new features as this one will (supposedly) have. And the same goes for most brands. Updates are updates, not total redesigns.
Or maybe you’re just looking to be the new forum troll. It’s been a while since we’ve had one…
