          Same problem Ambit3 Peak and iPhone 11 Pro.

          Paired OK
          No sync activities
          The latest update of frebrero does not solve the problem 😠

                On ios 13 (iphone XR) I need to stop working polar flow in the background then it is starting to sync with Ambit 3 P.

                Suunto Vertical, Suunto Race, Edge 530, Vantage V, Suunto Wings, Polar H10&Verity Sense

                  I don’t want to bore anyone by describing the synchronization problems I’ve had since the introduction of the Suunto app to replace Movescount. I just want to say that my activities are no longer downloaded from the Ambit 3 Peak to the Suunto app; only using the cable and a computer can I back-up and analyze them with the Strava app.
                  I am really bewildered by the lack of sensitivity of this company that seems not to understand that nowadays it is essential not only to propose a state-of-the-art technology but also to give an adequate support to the customer. For this reason my choice will no longer fall on Suunto products when I have to replace my devices (a Suunto D6 and an Ambit 3 Peak).

                    I saw that you’ve commented on a topic that is related to A3P sync to SA on an Iphone.
                    Could you please specify the details of the issues you observe together with what you have tried so far and what SW versions you are running for SA and phone OS?
                    I’m on android and hence not of much help here… but what I know is that Suunto is still developing and improving SA and especially the integration of A3P.
                    As long as there are still issues it will always help Suunto to send feedback and for sure it is not the final state as long as it is still buggish

                      The application freezes during GPS optimization, failing in the attempt. Also, my tasks are no longer synchronized from the Ambit3 to the Suunto application (initially only tasks longer than one hour were not synchronized). Very often the device disconnects from the iPhone for no apparent reason.
                      Suunto support has offered a number of solutions:

                      • GPS reset (in the main menu)
                      • Disconnection of Ambit 3 from iPhone and subsequent new connection
                      • Forced firmware update (with loss of all data on the watch).

                      Previously I had an iPhone 6, now I have an iPhone 11 Pro (IOS 13.3.1), always the same problems. The Suunto application is 1.14.1 (7857).

                          If you search the Internet for bluetooth problems with the latest iPhones and latest iOS, you really find A LOT of devices which are having problems with syncing. Not that I defend Suunto here, but they are not alone with this.

                            Now I have version 1.15.1 (7929) of Suunto App. Same problems. No sync!

                              This entire thread makes me quite concerned about my own A3P. I have many many suunto watches (I am a tester) and my A3P is one of the faves and still what I consider my most reliable for GPS accuracy on tough trails. I also am an iphone user, and have an older model (iphone 6S), and still have the old movescount app installed. The last time I used the A3P, which was last October after my 50K race; it worked fine syncing the A3P to MC ios. But now I am planning to upgrade my phone, either to the upcoming iphone 9 or perhaps some version of Pixel.

                              It sounds like I will need to keep my old 6S around just to be able to sync data from the A3P, unless I want to use the USB cable every time.

                              I also wonder if this same problem plagues newer android phones with the newest Suunto app, does anyone know?

                                      Pity to hear so many people having the same issue without proper responses from Suunto. Maybe need to change brands.

                                        @JMOppenheim in Suunto defence, I think the problem is more related to iOS 13. Can’t remember having issues with bluetooth sync prior to iOS 13.

                                            @Maryn mine too, but sometimes my settings will sync only after a couple of tries in Movescount App (I’m not using the Suunto App yet).
