Regarding the May news
https://www.suunto.com/pt-pt/Content-pages/digital-service-transition/Shouldn’t we be getting emails?
I find quite annoying that every week I receive the same sales/discounts from suunto but never news from digital transition.
Is it the same for everybody?
I even unsubscribed the suunto newsletter because of that (which is a pity because usually suunto provides good content).
If you really need to “clean the stock” I think it may be other ways (and more efficient) than bugging actual users, specially the ones that may not be that happy about some suunto decisions.I totally agree!

@margusl
what update mails?
I have several MC accounts, some of those have only Ambit1 connected, others have Ambit1 & Ambit3. Those were registered with different email aliases but all the mails end up in the same inbox. As you can see from mail count (2nd column, right after “Suunto”), not all those accounts get same update mails. -
What is this one ?

Hi @André-Faria,
The current situation with the coronavirus may affects to the normal activity of every company, included Suunto. I’m very caution in this “lock down”.

Dear Suunto community members,
We are happy to share the latest news related to our digital service transition.
Firstly, thank you for your feedback around this topic, your passion for our brand and services only inspires us more to create experiences that you find fulfilling. We are listening and our strategy reflects your input.
Key updates:
Suunto app development:Since January we’ve brought some meaningful usability and route enhancements, a renewed Android app user experience, as well as our new connection with Relive - enabling you to turn your adventures into personal videos worth sharing. Keep your app updated for the latest features and best experience.
Data transfer from Movescount:
We will begin enabling the import of your exercise history from Movescount to Suunto app in May, starting first with select products.Find out more here.
Movescount App:
In order to provide a clearer and more understandable experience with our digital services we will be making changes that impact the Movescount App in 2019. Read the details on our transition page.
Suunto movescount.com (web service):
The web service for Movescount is a fundamental part of our current digital services and we continue to assess its most important and utilized functionalities. We will share updates in the coming months, as we know they are particularly relevant for those connecting exclusively by cable to the web, like Ambit and Ambit 2.
As we go forward with our transition, we hope you will continue to share your feedback with us. We will ask your opinion via surveys in Suunto app.
-Your Suunto team
They have it on https://www.suunto.com/Content-pages/digital-service-transition/?setcountry=en as well if you scroll it down to Previous updates . But here’s a strange bit, Previous updates is actually missing from some localized pages, so if you can’t see it there, switch to global or US.

@margusl
Got it thanks.
I thought it was about “Web Version of SuuntoApp” -
@Bulkan Yes, Suunto certainly seem to have increased the volume of emails trying to persuade me to buy a new watch since lockdown started!
-
@Mff73 , hehe, sorry, no.
There’s this image with a “Sunnto App” alt-text right after View … link.
So Gmail tries to play this smart and creates “View Web Version Suunto app Dear Suunto Community …” summary -
@margusl
I have signed up for the newsletter but never ever received any of them -

I know.I also work in a Sports company, and we are only partially working.
But I guess if we can receive those annoying emails with sales we should also receive the news ones. -

At least not with all those 7 MC accounts that have received updates. No chance those all ended up in a spam?From my inbox only it’s clear that there’s some grouping and targeting going on (Ambit & Ambit3 get different set of mail updates), so I guess it’s possible that you were taken out from the target group once you added that S9B of yours to a SA account that shares the same mail as your MC account. Or some other weird logic.

@margusl
I signed up when I joined SA forum and then again when I activated my S9B -
Hi, I just noted that Suunto has transferred all my moves from movescount to SA, without me doing anything. fair enough…
As an happy AMBIT2 user: I have the following questions:- Will my moves done after this dump be synced with the app? automaticall?
- Since last week, I can not upload gpx files to movescount. (I think the website was down for maintenance earlier this week) . is this functionallity gone? then please share how I can put new routes on my Ambit2. I can upload new ones in SA, but it doesn’t seem to sync with MC.
thanks for your help,
thomas -

Only if you sync with Suuntolink instead of Moveslink2 - https://www.suunto.com/et-ee/Support/software-support/suuntolink/ Just note that Suuntolink does not send your activities to Movescount, only to Suunto App.
One exception to this is having SportStracker connection enabled in Movescount.Since last week, I can not upload gpx files to movescount. With Chrome? Not sure why it started popping up just recently -

Nice to hear that there will be a solution for as owner of an Ambit1 (old but perfect for ErgoTraining in Winter) and an Ambit2 for my Outdoor Training.
I’m looking forward for this solution in (near or most likely far) future.What I see today ist that you have removed the Monthly Summary from Movescount as it comes to Sum Accent, Sum Kilometer for MTB/Cycle/Hiking/aso, aso…
Thats not funny at all.
Please could you tell me where I can see these Data - I need it desperately for my next meeting with my cardiologist. -

Dear @Christian-Kernbeis if you have questions that are directed at Suunto, please try also to contact Suunto directly, as an example through support. Here we are (almost) all users just like you, and cannot provide such answers.
-
Ok, Import is done (I havent checked all 771 moves but I hope its OK), whats left is how to print the monthly report for my doctors.
-
What I’m missing is a core function of Movescount on WindowsBrowser:
It was possible to set target heartrate zones and the track was colored according to my heartrate in within these zones. (I hope the explanation is clear)
So it was clear to see where (on which part of the track) I had exeeded my capabilitys and where I should go faster.I dont see this function on my Tablett in Suunto App.
As this is a feature with high value I’m pretty shure that its somewhere in the APPThanks for your help

”It was possible to set target heartrate zones and the track was colored according to my heartrate in within these zones. (I hope the explanation is clear)“
Yes, your explanation is clear – that coloured track was a useful feature. Unfortunately, it’s also clearly not in the Suunto app. And, as you know, it’s disappeared out of Movescount… so that’s progress for you, I guess.
But hope is not lost! I suggest you take a look at Quantified Self, created by Dimitrios (community manager for this very forum: big discussion here). Although there’s no coloured track there either, it’s got more charts and graphs than you can shake a stick at. Also, if you ask nicely, he is very responsive and accommodating to us users needs. Maybe you will find what you’re after there.
Happy hunting.
