S9 will be the top model from Suunto for Sport watches.

We know that will bring at this first phase just Navstar. Sony chipset support other GNSS: https://www.sony-semicon.co.jp/products_en/gps/index.html.
If we see with attention the table we will see that best chipset model have a consumption very low - 6mW. But for all constellations? Or just for one?

It would be natural that a top-of-the-range model would be at least identical in this chapter to the model it will replace. Right?
      Wrong.

Is the assumption that Glonass doesn’t satisfied the users?
It was the solution to give more battery life?
      Will be there later?
Can we see support at future with this chipset for other systems?

@luís-pinto Glonass will come, at this point its out to not create the same frustration as it did for other users and personally I hope Galileo comes

@luís-pinto I had the same ones. At some prev FW versions as mentioned in the 5K runner as well Glonass was there. Also the ability to turn on FusedTrack with Best GPS.

@luís-pinto I tried it but it did not produce any miracle.
On the contrary on GPS Good and Ok it does.

What I wish could be great, is when in Best there is low coverage (less sats) then the FusedTrack could kick in.

Suunto is working 100% atm on these techs (the GPS depart) so lets see how it ends up to be.

FusedTrack with Best GPS will be great because of areas with bad reception that produce frustrating results.

I would add this tech to any GPS mode, FusedTrack would be great for GPS connection loss to correct track, even in the best GPS we get spikes and this mess ups stats with max speed 320km/h 😄

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos Interesting to note though, SWOLF won’t be available either on launch. Do you know if it will be made available or it its an error?

@slash ok finally OSX Mojave decides to save my screenshot.
Strokes/min is there, stroke length is not(not sure what you meant), and style is there. Maybe they didn’t update the information?😅
