Suunto 9 Peak All Black Sainless Steel quality

S9P All Black ordered. It wil lbe delivered Tuesday.
One last doubt I hope I can clarify with you guys: between the sapphire crystal on the watch face and the stainless steel bezel is there any plastic buffer, or the saphhire crystal is directly in contact with the stainless steel bezel?
From the photos and reviews I’ve seen, regarding the All Black model I can’t really tell, but in the Titanium/Stainles Steel gray versions it seems to have a black plastic ring between the sapphire cristal and the bezel.

@ricardo-marinheira I don’t possess one, but I think there is a plastic ring. It’s for shock absorption, phones have that too.

Can’t tell the material but seems to be some kind of plastic. And there’s a little space between this ring and the glass, in which little particles love to stick

Do any of you guys manage to track a gym session with it?
I guess it is not that practical anytime you move from one exercise to another, to have to select exercise, choose time(/or other parameters, and so on.
Is there any easier way of doing it?

@ricardo-marinheira I record the full session, and use laps for different exercises or repetitions.

@surfboomerang but in the app it only showed multisport for the whole activity and not the selected sport type’s. So that’s not really helpfull at the end…

How many days took your order to be shipped by Suunto?
I’ve ordered my Suunto 9 Peak All Black Thursday evening, and after chatting a few minutes ago with Suunto, it is not certain it is shipped today.
Simply can’t understand, by today’s standards, why do they take 2 whole days (or more) to ship an online purchase.
It’s a complete absurd!

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos That might have impact in the stocks, but given the fact the watch is in stock for quite some time, it’s hardly undersantdable to have to wait 2 whole days (or more) to get a watch shipped.
It happened a couple of years ago, when e-commerce was on its first days.
By today’s standard it’s not that usual.

@ricardo-marinheira I suggest you to read the manual if you are not familiar with the watch.

Anyway what I meant is that you don’t have to start a different activity for every exercise, you can start an activity and just do all your exercises. If you want to know the time per exercise, or repetition, or rest, I suggest to use laps.

@ricardo-marinheira I have a friend who ordered their S9P early July and was told it should arrive by the end of July (currently out of stock and high demand). He is still waiting, has now been told end of September… he’s almost ready to cancel and buy something else
