I think the HRV screen should show the information in a different way. Where the 7-day average appears should be last night’s average, and the chart should place yesterday’s HRV relative to the range. And below should be the average of the seven days. If my HRV goes out of range yesterday, it is because I have not recovered well and I should take it for my today training (or not, if I don’t want to), but if I pay attention to the graph, the average of the seven days may mark a correct range when in reality yesterday’s HRV is off. What do you think?

@MarioPedraza I actually agree that that would make more sense - you are supposed to use your latest HRV to guide how hard you work / train, but the rolling 7 day average will only show a much smaller drop.
Still, it does give you the information you need (i.e. last nights HRV and your ‘normal’ range) so you can see where it thinks you are at. As such, of all the things I would like Suunto to modify, this will not be at the top of the list!
So yes, the change as you suggest would make sense, but as @Brad_Olwin says, the figure is almost for ‘fun’. How you actually feel is more important!
