      @neverhood
      The problem is not really the syncing of turns from outside sources to Suuntoapp and the watch, it is the way the watch is managing the notifications : at a turn, there is a special point with indication that there is something to notify. And the watch is warning 100m before it, and nothing else, and then it is focused on the next turn.
      Whatever you can do with plotaroute or komoot or any other routes, if the watch mechanisms are not changed, it will stay the same.

        @neverhood You need to turn on turn by turn, it is not on by default, when creating a route.

          I’ve never created a route on Suunto App but via Kamoot turn by turn is the default. Strange it is the opposite 🤷🏻‍♂️
          I also turn the turn by turn off.

            @Audaxjoe you should try native route creation with SA ! 😊
            I’ve tried komoot a few times. SA is so much easy to me ! (Except maybe if you are using existing routes in komoot).

              I think the issue is activity. My main need for a route is cycling, normally in the range of 150-200k. SA isn’t the easiest on a phone for these distances! Or not in my experience anyway 🤣 It could be user error…

                @Audaxjoe so for you need I can understand why you use komoot ! (Even if SA works well also for cycling to me 😊 )

                    How do you get the SA on your computer? Probably a stupid question but oh well 😊

                      @MiniForklift On my Mac SA runs great. On Windows 11 I believe Android apps also run.

                        @Brad_Olwin I do the same as you, I also turn off turn-by-turn, but I understand that this is not a solution to what the colleague is asking.

                        In the end, as the turn-by-turn works in such an unhelpful way, it ends up being a useless feature. It’s a pity.

                          @enriqueescoms when I had no maps (with A3p, S9b…), first there was no turn by turn. When it arrived on S9B, I used it but with the same limitation than now.
                          With the SV and maps, If find it less usefull.
                          When I still use it, I often remove most turning points, only to keep the key ones on my way (complex crossings for examples…). But I only use it as a warning for map looking !

                            @Tieutieu Yes, I do much the same. Maybe if the turn-by-turn worked differently I would use it more. Maybe, I don’t know.

                              @enriqueescoms there is a trade off using on a bike vs. Run. But, I agree it needs improvement.
