Android to watch pairing issue

I’m having trouble pairing/recognising my vyper novo divewatch with my Samsung tablet and Samsung phone using the USB cable , I downloaded a third party app (divemate) and it paired/recognised my watch immediately .
Any advice please -
@jez01 Suunto app doesn’t support Vyper Novo, use SuuntoLink:
