Watch hard hard freezes upon finishing open water swimming

After using the Open Water swimming activity
Watch kept going into the settings menu.
Also I should mention that the swimming wasnt showing any distance traversed for the whole time. Pressing the buttons wouldnt do anything, it was completely unresponsive.
I powered off the watch using the long press on the upper button.
Watch wouldnt turn on after that no matter how long I held the upper button, and I had to use a combination of button presses to hard reset it in order for it to boot again.
After a day, same issue happened. Watch wouldnt turn on at all past that point.
This ended up in a replacement watch. I seriously urge to take a look at this issue.
