Update 2.39.34
-
@Kaiphi you can push samples.json (sml file) from Suunto App cache into my crude app:
-
#metoo here I have to charge it at least every 6-7 days even with just about 4-5 hours GPS enabled for walking while currently having to fix my back pain and just can do some physio and walking at the moment.
I checked it yesterday evening and it dropped from 34% to 20% in about 17 hours, with no activity tracking. Light are turned of, OHR is in 24/7.
I have been updated to 2.39.34 even while updates where turned of.
Still can remember times when I did almost forget where I put my charger
Would be great if next releases would be just hard ass bugfixing releases.

@Ecki-D I have updated today to 2.39.34 (which is a downgrade) and it seems to have fixed the battery drain - at last, for one workout I’ve tracked.
-
@Łukasz-Szmigiel okay - I have to check with your app. Maybe it is just a feeling that it needs to be charged more often.
-
I’m seeing the same pattern here too, my watch definitly needs to be charged more often than when I got it 2 years ago, I didn’t bother to make acutal measures, but the battery life is roughly half of what I experienced before.
I agree with this statement

9 Peak Pro is a great watch “as it is right now” if yould just fix the ever increasing amount of bugs and just be done with it, that would be great

Agreed. And certain, minuscule UI gimmicks. But it’s bugs - mostly.
I also doubt that the hardware of this watch will allow for much more.

Hello everyone!
Just found a little bug today: it seems that outdoor watch face isn’t compatible with alarms and they don’t work properly while using this screen. I found my alarm active but no ringtone/vibration was active!
(I suppose this as I changed watch face and with the other one everything was fine). -
@misu763 that sounds annoying, my alarms do work as expected with the outdoor watch face. I have compass as the outer complication. On Vertical.

@Audaxjoe
S9PP here and I set the outdoor watch face with daylight bar, date(day/number) and moon phase… not a big problem, now I know I have to change it if I need to use the alarm! I hope it helps developers! -
@misu763 I have the alarm time and seconds as the other complications on mine.
It is the only watch face where the seconds seems to stay active - ie normally you loose the seconds count down when the watch isn’t viewed for a while. I don’t seem to see any difference in battery drain.
