@sky-runner Also the arrow for the direction should be a little bit larger. I really like the fact, that itâs not longer full screen, but the current style is too small for my eyes. Itâs really hard to see. Especially, if it appears a second before you have to turn.
Yes, fully agree. Most of the time I canât tell what the next turn is supposed to be even if I manage to briefly see it.
Has there been any official response from the Suunto team with regards to the new navigation guidance? In my opinion, this change has been rushed in without a proper UX research and the overall user experience has become worse, and this is quite a bit less usable than it is used to be. Is there a plan to revisit this again? Please let us know!
Should we do a poll about the preferred navigation guidance?
-
@sky-runner as far as I know, there are more improvements to navigation planned.

Great to know that!

Today I swam 1250m and the Race S tracked the total distance correctly (without push any buttons).
Iâll see next time, but for now Iâm happy with the 2.40.38 fw.

I have to say that my Vertical completely stopped discharging after the update. Thatâs power! Super job Suunto.
The only change I made was to delete all the watch faces and keep only about 2 in the watch, but I guess that doesnât affect it.

@Mff73
I guess thatâs a no then
I have a refurbished race s that I was looking forward to getting back and wearing (FWIW, the service from Suunto was absolutely brilliant). But Iâm now used to using a Garmin with track mode, and itâs so, so useful.
Track mode, multiple HRM connections and an ohr that told me my actual hr during sleep rather than double are the 3 things I crave for in a Suunto.
One day. Until then, Iâll stay conflicted -

@Mff73 this is the strangest response ever. Thanks so much đ«
-
@The_77 thank you! Sorry to have missed the previous post.
So now we have two next to useless track modes on the watch. I can see how Suunto have made it to 100 sports đ€

@ĐлДĐșŃĐ°ĐœĐŽŃ-ĐĐ°ĐœĐžĐ»Đ”ĐœĐșĐŸ I have exactly the same sincde Friday 4 April. No more sleep tracking, resources or HRV⊠All day HR is ok.

@Artus-Diver Youâre right that the update did not resolve a problem. But to be fair the results have improved a bit. The poolâs lengths are now counted better. Iâve been following this problem for two years now, and I admit itâs getting better but still, if you do a strange move in the water the watch could be wrong in counting. Also keep in mind that this particular update was not intended to improve style recognition. Maybe itâll come with the next updates, I hope soâŠ

help !!!
I couldnât find it so Iâm asking
Vertical - â After the last update Iâm trying to change the battery setting - I set it to performance but it always goes back to custom
eny help hear
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos -
@Danny-poleg go to custom battery settings and recreate the settings identical to performance mode and save as custom. Next time itâll default to performance.
-
@Ćukasz-Szmigiel First of all thanks -
I just tried without actually going out for a workout outside - I finish a workout but it still goes back to custom but I did notice that in performance mode the touchscreen in map mode works
What am I doing wrong -
@Danny-poleg Are you using a custom sport mode?
-
@Ghost No - I will point out that this is a problem for me and a friend
My friend and I are trying this on âRunning Basicâ -
@Danny-poleg Just tried it on my Vertical. If I use the Running Basic mode, it always switches back to âPerformanceâ every time.
-
@Danny-poleg did you try setting custom battery mode to mimic the performance mode (exact settings), saving it and then going back to the watchface and into the workout screen again?
