      Re: Suunto ZoneSense

      This is my favourite app ever. Updating zone have never been easier!

        @lexterm77 It’s easy when it works, but this is what ZS just recently measured for me after an hour of cycling: aerobic 145 and anaerobic 146 :dizzy_face. To be honest, this is really the first time I get such obviously wonky results, but this makes me wonder how reliable ZS is. I know these values change even daily, but my results tend to change quite a lot.

          @BrunoH

          With cycling it may not be as reliable because of coasting. When running I do not stop, power output is pretty much same and terrain flat, it would make less errors. Post your power/hr rate of workout. If you have large dips if would invalidate even lab tests.

            @BrunoH well, couldn’t it maybe possible that you just don’t have a „classic zone 4“. When you would reach your anaerobic threshold (the point when lactate starts raising profoundly and faster that your metabolism could get rid of it) very suddenly and on a relatively low HR level compared to your max HR , the HR would „jump“ from the Zone 3 to 5 (from below or very slowly building up reasonable amounts of lactate to building them up very rapidly) - leaving out Zone 4 completely?
            That’s why I like Zonesense and would like to have it as “outer ring” display instead of the HR-Zones, as it’s giving much better feedback here IMO
