Is the touch screen working properly on your navigation screen after Update 2025-Q2?
-
I already mentioned this in the update thread that after updating automatically without any problems on my 9PP, I realized that on the navigation screen (in any sport, with any route, or with simple breadcrumb), the touch screen doesn’t work (well, it actually does, but all it does is move a small three-line icon, like a menu, from side to side). So, since on that screen, a long press doesn’t activate the back button, and neither does the touch screen, it’s impossible to go back screens, only forward using the center button.
I find it strange that this obvious bug isn’t being discussed more. Am I the only 9PP this has happened to? Anyone else?
Anyway, all I wanted to do was let you know and see if Suunto could somehow address it through the forum.

@enriqueescoms same here.
Has not bothered me as there are no maps on S9PP.Will make a bug report.

@Egika Thanks for report it.

I never used touch, as I thought it doesn’t work at all in sports modes. So touch is only active when showing the navigation screen? What is it supposed to do? Open the navigation menu? Zoom in or out?

@Ecki-D. Simply swipe back and forward quickly through the screens.
How do you do it? How do you return to the previous screen from the navigation screen? Just by clicking the middle button (forward)?

@enriqueescoms Can’t swip any screen in any sports mode. Maybe there is a setting for that? I just press the middle button once for forward, not sure if it ever worked backwards on the navigation screen but currently it does not.

For reference, you can hold the middle button to cycle back through the navigation screen when the buttons are locked in sport mode.

@The_77 thanks, although it’s no solution for me, it’s good to know
