      Hi,

around the time when the last update was rolled out, my suunto vertical watch started to have issues with power readings of my powermeter (assioma favero duo).
It happens around twice every minute that my 3second and 20 second power goes to zero for a second and then starts to build up again, even though I pedal consistently.

This is a different behavior to when I stop pedaling, then the power decreases slowely, but does not immediatly go to zero.

I checked my FIT file and in there I was not able find any power drops (I made laps in order to mark the times, when the drop happens).

I tried to restart the watch, unpair and pair the powermeter again, remove any other bluetooth device (like phone or HR belt).
What I was not able to do yet, is to check how my old Suunto Ambit 3 shows the data.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue or are there any ideas what I could do?
For the past half year the watch had no issues at all displaying the power data consistently.

      Thank you in advance!

@nseslija thank you, it is reassuring that I am not the only one with the issue.

@benille I have the same problem with my Vertical and Favero Assioma Pro, I’ve already done a downgrade to the 20.40.44 version, and I’ll be doing some tests over the day. The problem doesn’t occur in my Suunto app, Strava or Intervals.ICU, it’s only the data that is wrongly displayed on the screen.

@MIŁOSZ It seems that downgrading fixed the problem

I have the same issue, using a cycling power meter.

I have contacted suunto support and seems that they are not aware of this problem.
Has anyone the same issue but with a different power meter brand than Favero?

Here the reply from Suunto Support:
"Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I’m sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues with the cycling power meter data on your Suunto Vertical.

This is the first time I’m hearing about this specific issue, but I will definitely forward your report to our team for further investigation. Since the Assioma Favero Duo is a third-party device, it’s also a good idea to check with Favero directly, as sometimes firmware glitches, sensor calibration, or connectivity problems can cause inaccuracies.

We appreciate you sharing the forum link, and we’ll look into this closely. While I can’t provide a timeline just yet, we’ll keep you and our community updated as soon as there’s progress.

Thank you for your patience and for helping us improve the Suunto experience."

@benille it’s not only Favero, it’s not only cycling power meters, stryd users also have the problem.

how can I do a downgrade?

I don’t have Vertical but on Race(S) you go to Settings>General>About
                        Scroll all the way down
Hold lower button to enter Debug menu
                        then >Select OTA pkg
and choose which version to install
