Aqua offline music shows in music folder, looks like it should be playing yet no music plays…
-
I have connected the aqua to both my Mac mini and my phone… I downloaded music and I can see all the songs in the folder but I can’t get any of it to play…

@hammerhead1967 ok. so does the headset switch on and off with a dingdong sound? Then the spekaer itself is working
Does the headset play music from a connected phone?
Have you switched it to offline music using either a button configured for this or the app?
Which file format is the music you have transferred? -
@hammerhead1967 Its a possible bug with the drive system i think, its fixable by updating the sw on the headset, then make sure you fully recycle the headset off then on, connect the headset to the computer and delete all folders and everything from the drive (you might store the music files on the root if you dont want to transfer them again) and then recycle the headset again off then on, the folders will appear again and you can move the music inside the folders again, then recycle the headset and it should start working again
it seems to be a problem with the reference to the folders on the disk so the sw cant read the music files properly if you dont do this, its been documented earlier aswell and I hope this will solve your issue
It did for both my headsets!
But as @Egika says here verify that youre in the offline mode and that it works for normal bluetooth music first, aswell as verify the music is in a supported format before you start doing this

@Egika Hello!
Yes to all of the questions. I have listened to my bluetooth music several times, I hear all of the tones and the words when it switches within the app from one thing to the other. I am using my apple music library which uses a file supported in Suunto’s list of usable formats. It just doesn’t actually play the songs! I see the play button is engaged, even the little equalizer symbol to the right is there, just not moving or playing sound! Very frustrating! -
Greetings,
I am up to date on all sw, have deleted all files (several times) and cycled it on and off multiple times… still doesn’t play the music I am seeing on the app! Not even the 10 songs it came with! very frustrating! -
