Recovery watch & App
-
I just got back to Suunto Race 2 and I see the recovery are not the same. What should I do?
-
@Kraisun-Tunta nothing, just wait until it’s fixed in the next software update (allegedly).
-
@OutdoorMan noted and thank, This topic really needs to be fixed urgently. It’s unbelievable that they’re still leaving it like this without fixing it.

Experiencing the same issue at Suunto Race 2.
Recovery 28 % watch vs 96 % app
TSS numbers 111 watch vs 110 app
Maybe because of the new watch (6 days)?
And the sleep tracking is really off - reading in a bed, or watching a movie, can easily add 3 hours to the total.
Synced now, the newest FW. -
Checked now, morning.
Suunto Race 2, FW 2.50.26 - synced, refreshed in apps
W for watch, phone for iOS app, ipad for iPadOS appSteps: 2275 W, 2275 phone, 696 ipad
TSS: 57 W, 55 phone, 55 ipad
Recovery: 51 W, 79 phone, 80 ipad
Resources: 91 W, 91 phone, 99 ipad
HRV (7-day average): 50 W, 49 phone, 49 ipad
CTL, ATL, TSB: all in line
Duration (this week): all in line
Sleep: all in line (but still capturing the book reading as a nap - even resting HR set low)Is it just me, or somebody else experience the same weird behaviour?
This inconsistency pushes me to get another brand. -
Yes, I still have the same issue. Now the numbers are way off - 73% vs 57%

Even with this new firmware, the datat feature still requires a sync to app before showing on the watch. This needs to be calculated on-device just like any other feature like training , sleep, hrv status, training status etc. Having to sync to app defeats the point of having an independent watch.

@Kraisun-Tunta I was thinking about the same just yesterday. Let’s say I buy a second watch, do I have to wear it for two weeks to determine my HRV range again? If yes, will it be the same as on watch one? I guess not, so the current logic has a few flaws.
