Hi, it’s been few months since my 9PP started to switch off on their own. It has gotten worse recently, so I wonder if there is a possibility of SW bug or do I need to send them for repair.

I have not tracked any condition that would trigger the power off, it seems to be completely random. Sometimes they go few days, other times they switch off 10 times in one day. After switching off, the only way to wake them up is to hold the upper button until they vibrate and then they will power on and sync.

      Any ideas?

@avedelphina mine has never switched off on its own. But does it reboot, or switches off and you need to press the upper button to start it?

@avedelphina This happened to me last year (Sep/Oct 2024). It was sporadic and similar to what you described. The 9PP would turn off and I would only notice it when turning my wrist to view the time and seeing a blank screen. I couldn’t relate it to any particular triggers, it only happened to me during everyday use and not during activities. I had it sent over to Suunto but they couldn’t replicate that behaviour and no action was taken. The only way I was able to remove that problem was by a factory reset. This issue has not repeated since. There have also been a number of firmware updates since then, so I don’t know what ultimately helped 🤷
