Setting watch’s language in English , there’s no audio overlap for autolaps when a kilometer is completed (like it happens when setting the watch in Spanish)
Can anybody test other languages? My guess is that autolap notifications are overlapping languages when English is not set in the watch

Btw. I’m noticing that even English sounds a bit unnatural. It’s like digits or words are recorded one by one so it can be used to make the sentences.

So basically, Italian has the same issue as Spanish with the overlapped audios in English. This is important.

          Can anybody contact Suunto?

@dreamer_ The problem lies in the simultaneous work of the suunto assistant and the Google assistant. Probably available in all languages.

The thing is that both audios are happening at the same time. It’s super weird. And if you configure the watch in english, the issue is gone.

I mean, with the watch in Spanish (without touching anything in the phone), the issue is there. With the watch in English there’s no issue.

I’m not sure about these headshets. I expected better firmware. There’s no integration either and touch is too sensitive. Physical buttons are much better while running in my opinion.

I did not comment but I’m testing my Spark. So feedback post:

                  • Sound quality is really good.
                  • Build quality is very nice. They feel really premium.

                  Not so good things:

                  • The touch is too sensitive. I have disabled by default the “one click”
                  • Audio notifications are exactly the same as without the Spark. I knew that, but I didn’t expect the latin american spanish for Spain.
                  • Metrics are not integrated with the watch.

I think the S+ app should have two more options:

                  • An option to toggle on/off things like navigation audio indications, so users can decide if they want the navigation audio indications (which are very useful in several cases). For that, Suunto should implement the feature (which is still missing).
                  • An option to toggle on/off to use the metrics taken from the Spark’s pedometers in the main activity in the watch. I mean, to not have 2 activities in the app (watch and spark). Something similar that what happens when you are using a chest/arm strap. Only one activity with the much better bpm taken from the chest/armstrap, not two activities. Something similar happens here with the Spark, since you have 2 additional pedometers that are going to work a lot better than something that is taken from a watch that is in one moving arm.
For someone that made the effort of buying the Spark, I see this as an important software bug that should be solved. Having 2 individual activities has not sense (at all).

                  Ideally:

                  • Go further with a firmware update for using the pedometers of the spark for indoor/treadmill runs, if possible of course.
                  • Things like voice notes while on workout (if possible).

Just those little things for making the Spark a must and a perfect companion.

About the voice things. Garmin, Amazfit and since this May, now Coros are working seriously on this.

                  This is Coros’ May update:
                  https://eu.coros.com/stories/coros-metrics/c/may-2026

It is very interesting for several scenarios (I.E, running with gloves in winter but see Coros notes). I think the Spark have a lot of potential here and Suunto should really think in the integration as an ecosystem. There are many use cases considering also the integrated pods.

There’s a lot of marketing with these things, but at the end Suunto is behind the rest and the integration thing is somehow super interesting considering Suunto has it’s own headsets.

Anyone have issues pairing a Spark with an iPhone? I have an iPhone 17 running iOS 26.5. After pairing, the Suunto App status for the Spark initially shows a green check, but after 2 seconds shows a yellow dot. When clicking on the Spark icon to configure the Spark, it will initially show the left Spark, case, then right Spark. After 2 seconds one of the Sparks gets greyed out, the case may go grey as well, but not always - It changes. When looking at button customization, the Spark that is greyed out shows a circle/exclamation mark. Says it is not connected.

I’ve tried forgetting the Spark from my phone, resetting the Spark, deleting and reinstalling the Suunto app, repairing, nothing works. Same behavior on my iPad. I contacted support who were very helpful but nothing changed. They suggested returning it. Before I do, I want to ensure I am not doing something really stupid, and/or that this is a known problem that has a fix or will have.

Appreciate any help ya’ll may have. Thanks!

I cannot speak for iOS but if you tried 2 devices, could you borrow a friend/family Android phone for a pairing test?
It’d be interesting for you to know if your Spark do connect to Android (if not, there’s definitely something bad and you should return them).

Or perhaps there’s a software bug and you are the very first one, but I find strange that.

About the issues I was talking about in the previous posts. To be honest, I’m pretty disappointed with the Spark. It’s like the build/sound quality is very good but software is not good enough (overlapped audios/integration…). I think Suunto has an interesting opportunity here, but I’m not keeping them (for now).
