Updates for V1

Hello,
Is there any timeline for the next update. I experience the issue when backlight stays on even when it’s not activated in settings. This drains batterry extremelly fast. I did not find a way to replicate the issue - it happens from time to time.
If anything is to be prioritized I suppose this is it

Has anyone seen or heard any rumours yet regarding updates for the neglected V1?

@LitchiMonster Why is the V1 neglected? There are very clear statements on the issues with updating V1 and clear statements on what Suunto stated. I still use my Vertical 1, it is my favorite Suunto and does everything I need.

@Brad_Olwin the absence of a clear timeline and what to expect gives (to some of us who are not that well connected with Suunto) the perception that it is neglected.

@Gunnar I am referring to not being updated and not having any clarity of further updates . . Other devices were either updated or reached end of life for further updates . Vertical is in limbo .Now one can be smarter than others or myself , but that’s how I see it .

I don’t want an update, my vertical works perfectly and I can wear it for weeks because the battery is so good 🫶 I mean it’s a sports watch, why does it always need updates. Of course, if something doesn’t work

at least off and back on track in navigation notification could be fixed. but it’s minor.
I also sail on the fine without any further updates boat. I know what’s possible from V2 but can comfortably say that V1 is good as it is. -

@maszop video refers to SV2, SR2 and suunto ocean ; I still don’t see any reference to SV1 but I must miss something ?

@Tieutieu In one point of the video says that there will be another video explaining the updates for the SV1 and SR1 and SRs, so I understand that there will be an update for them.
