      Interesting and makes me curious ; arm band is one of the devices I’ve wished for…if performances at there !

          The idea of an optical “all day” HRM is interesting, but if the current Suunto HRM chest strap needs to be updated to comply with regulations, then I don’t think it will be replaced by an optical version. This is simply due to the fact that ZoneSense cannot use optical and requires a chest strap. So I don’t see Suunto stopping the sales of a chest strap.

          I’d be interested in a Suunto version of Polar Loop, Whoop, etc. where I could alternate between using the Race S for actual sessions, and a screenless device for sleep and “ambient all day recording” when not in a session.

            They could just rebrand one of the newer Movesense models and gain features like ECG, temperature and movement. One of the models has the name HR2…

              It does, but it has a different chip set. I think this is a net-new product.
