      The upcoming night is the seasonal time shift in Germany (from summer to winter time). And tomorrow I want to run a marathon and have to wake up at 6:00am. Does the vertical shift the time automatically in the night or only when it syncs with the app on the mobile phone. I use the alarm from the vertical and have to trust it 🙂

        @marcrie

        If in doubt (and since you asked, you are) better also use a backup alarm.

          @marcrie as this night has an additional hour in the worst case you will be waked up an hour earlier…

            @2b2bff and @elbee, since I wanted to use the extra hour for sleep it was worth asking.
            I used the alarm of my phone (shame on me, Bluetooth was activated) and at 6:00, phone and vertical showed 6:00. The vertical gave me the wrong sunrise time, after syncing that was corrected. So I would have 95% confidence, that the time shift on the vertical is done by itself.
            And our cat waked me up at 5:00am…

                @marcrie I have Race S and time shifted by itself. The BT on my mobile phone was turned off. So everything went ok by itself.
