@Frixos-Demetriades i ll double check my claim of 3-5s when I can to make sure I am not thinking 9s = 3s (mind tricks). But at least this is what I thought.

@Frixos-Demetriades that’s how it looked for me during the last session. Taking a closer look at the numbers (increase of the pace vs beginning of the “automatic” manual lap), there’s about 5 sec gap (start and stop), which reduces a bit the avg speed of a sprint. Still useful in my opinion, especially to compare sessions all done with that feature.

@jw-cou My main problem was that some of my sprints have stopped while I was running as you can see from my photos (I think 3/10), even though distance was measured from stryd. That was not expected.

Telemark (resort skiing) does not start to search for satellites and HR… soft reset did not help

@TELE-HO did you give it a little time ? No issues here with custom or default sport mode

@TELE-HO Default “Telemark skiing” profile does work on my S9, but it took exceptionally longer than normal before HR and GPS started (about 10 sec after I selected it). I never noticed this in other sport modes. Normally it’s almost instant.

my sport modes are all customized and all work, except for Telemark Skiing that I have customized, too… I can’t even access it thru SA.

Try soft reset.You should try to rebuild custom Telemark too, maybe it got screwed

I tried softreset first thing when I noticed it does not work. And because I expected things to change and improve the more I try, I tried another 5 timesI think you’re right, kill and rebuilt… THIS is the moment when I’m begging for a backup. It could be worse and affect all my sport modes… but this one is already on the border for annoying me slightly

@TELE-HO I had this same issue with the default snowboarding profile. After every firmware update it was broken. The only way to fix it was to delete the profile and recreate it. After a while Suunto fixed it and I had no issues after the last two firmware updates.

I remember now that you mention it… I’ve had issues with it last year already, but of courseonly notice it when the season starts -
@TELE-HO I have no idea what caused it, but maybe they can fix this profile too. To be honest, I don’t recall if I tried to create a custom snowboard profile back then to test if that won’t break after a firmware update.
I checked the default telemark profile and it looks way too much like the snowboard profile. My guess is that they copied the profiles back then, only fixed snowboarding and forgot about telemark skiing.

@surfboomerang I remember something about this as well. If we pinpoint it I can reopen the issue.
I own the issue but cannot find it.
