Logbook track back is missed in S9baro
-
Yesterday I missed the track back function on completed sessions which is in the logbook. This is a feature on the Ambit 3 peak, which is fine in an emergency
-
AFAIK it is only possible to save the activity as Route in Suunto App. From that point on, you can follow that route in a new activity (or navigation only)
-
@surfboomerang I understand, but on this trip there was no mobile signal. And it is not always the phone is with me or empty battery
-
@BKtoo I agree. It would be a great feature.
-
@BKtoo
Did you try it ? I guess you don’t need mobile signal to do that, but I’m not sure -
@sartoric I just tried and it works.
-
@BKtoo There is a findback feature with the breadcrumb trail works perfectly. I tested this today.
-
@Brad_Olwin true, but that is only for a trackback in the same activity. Once you ended the activity and want to trackback that activity from the logbook it isn’t possible.
-
@Brad_Olwin thanks for reply. But is there a possibility after the session is over? For example, you are on a trip and the next day are going to find back?
-
@surfboomerang for safety, it would have been nice to be able to retrieve a logbook for trackback. That could be done with Ambit 3
-
@BKtoo You will need a route loaded into the app. You can create a route ahead of time and load it into the watch with no cellular connection but you cannot retrieve the exercise and load it into the watch as with the A3P
