@mff73 don’t have it tight that’s the key here. Not tight and a tiny bit higher.
oh, really, i thought the contrary, from all what i read about S9 and OHR.
Good to know, and appreciate watches not to be tighly worn.
-
If you tight it too much also OHR measure results to be lower than the actual HR.
I can’t wait mine to arrive … the free gift one … titanium black

yes, i found the same. If I tighten the watch too much it will prevent blood flow and HR will be off.
So better go for a snug fit - no strangulation and no bouncing around. -
@egika well described.

Nice!!! I love those photos! Tell us how are you feeling with the watch!
Very confortable and very elegant.
The Fenix 6S Sapphire, on my whrist was horrible, I am not sure if it was the weight or the OHR sensor or whatever but I coudln’t stand it. This one I don’t feel it (almost as a FR45).
I didn’t test any feature yet. Still discovering.
What it seems to me, is that in some menus is not extra fast. With the update it seemed to get better (placebo?) but not very impressed with its speed.Still, not an issue, just something I think it could be better.
Cool that we can tap to switch data on the watchfaces, but I miss sunrise/sunset on digital faces (except the outdoor one). -
I already like the OTA feature!

This post now needs to be flagged as ‘spoilers’! Mine is due for delivery in two days. Patience is a virtue (virtue is a grace, and Grace is a dirty girl who doesn’t wash her face).
@André-Faria very nice water bottle, how did you acquire it?

On Suunto website on the acessories

@surfboomerang which is your favourite watchface?
-
@dulko79 The outdoor watchface. I just tried the light version of it and noticed a small bug.
-
@surfboomerang I already reported one for that watchface. I’ll report yours too.
-
I think the old (Spartan era) outdoor watchface is the best on the Peak, especially with blue highlights.

X3 with all the data needed

First run completed with the S9P and I have to admit I’m very surprised!
HR spiked up and down a lot but once I tightened the strap one hole it was spot on and very consistent.
I selected GPS only mode and the accuracy was incredible! Some parts of the route were on the same road and the tracks almost overlap 100%. No wobbles or cutting corners. -
Just did a small hike yesterday to test OHR, seems better than previous version.
Hopefully I will confirm this after next running session
-
@mff73 Did I miss something or the watchface is different than in Spartans and S9. I mean, in SSU and S9 that have owned and own the outer ring is with color for the sun light hours but in yours (S9P) is for the night hours. Is this because of the inverted colors? or it is a bug?
-
@cosmecosta because of the inverted colors
