I’ll clarify for someone who may encounter these photos without context - it’s comparison of Suunto Spartan Sport without WHR vs Suunto 9 Peak. SSSwoHR is also quite thin and lovely watch, but S9P is thinner, lighter, more premium and better looking watch.

@richard-thygesen yes. And the magic is that it will be for all conditions due to the ambient light sensor. Combined with DND you can get a pitch black screen at sleep and a watchface always visible even in pitch black.

The above is a pic taken with no backlight. That is because the ambient light sensor didn’t need to light it up.

Agree, but the time is also readable and the size of the numbers looks very close

@isazi nice so it essentially removes the requirement of a button press. That was what I had hoped would be the case. Can you then touch the screen to cycle through data elements/complications?

No, it just activates the backlight. You must press a button to cycle through screens.
