So people cannot complain if the watch is loose and it’s not working properly 😁

@suzzlo the goal would be to be able to run an easy-my-HRV test with the watch every morning and that it be compiled in a graph on the SA (ideal) application or/and in a type HRV4Training or other app via a partnership.
the idea is to have a better idea of our physical form, avoid overtraining and adapt our training sessions.

@frederick-rochette The Ambit had a recovery feature. I have asked Suunto for this and I know others have. It would be nice to see something implemented. However, one might say Resources is a good framework to estimate recovery. For me, my morning resources and Avg sleep HR are a good indicator of how a hard workout will go.

@theo-lakerveld I did an S9P OWS test against F6S Pro.

@pavel-samokha Keep using Garmin - it makes you use only half the energy for the same workout 😊

(plus they got the unit wrong - so better stay with Suunto 😉 )

@pavel-samokha That looks promissing, no zig-zag profile! Did you crawl (free style) or did you swim breast stroke? I suppose crawl is less challenging due to the watch not bing submerged all the time. How do you percieve the accuraccy compared with the Garmin?

Previously used: Cyclosport HAC4, Polar S710, Ambit 2S, Ambit 3S, SSU, S5P, S9P Ti. Currently using: Race Ti.

@egika Nah, it took me a couple of hours just to pair the F6SP. Even though I used to be a Garmin user. It failed and failed and failed until I got the cable and good old Garmin Express. And UI is … complex. But ofc I’m biased.

@Theo-Lakerveld front crawl, no watch can handle breaststroke well due to how GPS works. I wrote my experience here https://forum.suunto.com/post/87196 Results matching quite well, I guess this is due to the fact as Dimi mentioned that they use similar GPS chip from Sony

@pavel-samokha thanks! I’ve actually pre-ordered the peak already, after my SSU’s “brain” had another stroke last saturday during a triathlon run, with 4 identical laps: https://www.strava.com/activities/5455602729 . I finaly gave it up after 5 years of patience. Though standing out from the Garmin crowd with a beautifull S9P is worth giving Suunto another try.

@wotus link text Now they have adjusted the data on SUUNTO website in the image from 13mm to 10,6mm. In reality the OHR sensor is “pressing about 2mm into the skin”, but you don’t feel that. The total height on a flat table is 13mm. IMG_20210701_171909~2.jpg
