@burningwipf I am still on 2.39.20 (last firmware that tracks swimming length correctly for me), but can’t for figure out how to get the full OTA id.

I enabled logging in the Suunto app, but cannot find the logs in my Internal storage using Google’s Files app

I made the same “Delete OTA pkgs” mistake as others uses, so no longer have the OTA file on device. I would like to download it again to ensure I can restore this version if I ever try an upgrade.

@Tieutieu nope sorry. Swim acciracy didnt Work, map now is terrible. I dont need new watchfaces anymore. So i will downgrade! Thanks

@GiPFELKiND maps are a bit different but at 100m level zoom (my use for trail running) and above I find the guiding much more easier now

I think the easiest way is to check the watch itself!
You can check that debug-menu where you can Delete OTA pkgs, there you can also use Select OTA pkg, and it will show your current version and all the cached ones!

I tried the following on my Vertical Solar:

Unfortunately, it does not install.

Are you aware of any 2.33.16 fw for the VS?

So it is another problem. But a so old FW, why do you want to install it .

@Mff73 I think the solar charging stop working. Perhaps, that got something to do with it. That is also the reason I updated to the latest firmware to see if it makes a difference, unfortunately, not.

While I use the Vertical for daily hiking and other sports, I do like the original Vertical watch face. Plus, on a day to day basis, you can tap and scroll through the complications, which I like. And most importantly, it just works.

If you look at the current watch face, apparently, sunrise is in 13h 1min. But it actually was 7hours ago. Sunset is wrong too. I also tried to customize it, very limited options. So, as we say here, “peila”

Suunto really cured me from wanting or having the latest and greatest fw. With automatic update, you wake up, look at your watch, and go, wtf!

So, 2.33.16 it is.

Did the watch get a location fix since the update. If not. start an outdoor activity or open map widget.

@Squirrel Yes, it did get an location fix, it has the location correct. Will try with a small hike later this afternoon.
