Suunto 9 Peak Pro?

I also expect that Suunto did a great job on readability and contrast of the screen.
The benefit of a smaller watch is less annoyance of it during the workout and I am also aware that bigger watches are disturbing e.g. during push ups.
I am absolutely not against the size of S9PP and might give it a try, too.
But I would appreciate to at least have a choice… coming from Suunto Core to garmin F3, A3PS and now S9B

@freeheeler I prefer s9pp size but would have liked a bigger screen. Maybe this can be achieved in the next gen by shrinking bezels a little bit?

I have no insights but have picked up that the bezel seem to bear the antenna. not sure how small the antenna can be or if it is possible to put it below the screen?
I think if it would have been possible nowadays Suunto would have already increased the screen for a better body/screen ratio.
with phones (always the phone example ), it also took some years before the bezel became smaller and almost disappeared

@freeheeler I also wonder if that may be because of the display connector. In which case I would much rather prefer a flat tire display that thicker bezels.

@isazi I’m especially impressed with S5 getting new updates still. Only the battery is getting a little bit wimpy, but other than that it’s still going strong.

Note: “Good” GPS accuracy/Endurance mode use a power saving 1-second GPS fix setting. This means that you can still use the watch’s navigation features on these settings.

Seems like Suunto is iterating back to naming where abbreviation is as long as name itself, if not longer…

they declare themselves as testers, I don’t see anything wrong with it.
it’s reviews that helps potential buyers who do not read forums and don’t watch youtube channels to decide before shipment starts… only the unhappy S9P user, I don’t understand!
