Allow two SuuntoPlus apps to run on a Suunto 9 Peak Pro

SuuntoPlus apps offer a wealth of features that when combined provide a richer experience. For example, it would be worthwhile to be able to combine “Climb” with “Training Peaks” structured workouts when executing planned hill repeats. The new Suunto 9 Peak Pro launched with an improved CPU. Please look into taking advantage of that new processing capability by supporting up to two SuuntoPlus apps. Note, I don’t have knowledge of the specific MCU you are using, so I have no insight into how many cores are available. Nor do I have knowledge of any limitations on multi-threading with your RTOS. But please take a look into it.

@seanvk I believe if it was possible they would already did it.
Or maybe they need more time testing. I believe the number of bugs than can occur during two apps would be very different than running one.

It’s somehow interesting, Suunto seems to be re writing their story, but updated. Ambit 1 also run only one app per sport mode, it was with the ambit 2 that it came the possibility of 5 apps.

Let’s see what future reserves

@seanvk Suunto is already looking into this. I am very sure it will come to enable multiple at a time (e.g. external device, structured workout and a technical one together makes sense).
Can’t confirm any dates though.
