I just used engo2 with race this morning. If you have gesture feature you can switch screens and if you switch to a blank one, it will not show any data.

I’ve tried to change the screen but I have no data visible. With the ActiveLook Android app it is working - so it seems the Suunto Race is the problem. I’ve tried it with the “basic running” - in which sport mode does it work for you?

@far-blue Suunto is definitely not responsible for the blurred display. It would be good if Suunto would also provide a compatibility list for the mentioned glasses in the app. Only two Suunto watches currently seem to support this. Interestingly, it is not currently possible to purchase glasses from two of the providers mentioned. They may be working on follow-up models.

          @Chabibulin

I only tried trail running, running and walking. They work on Race, Vertical and 9Pro. Have titanium version but that should not matter. I think S+ is same sw for all 3 watches. Did you try any another bt devices on s+? Like core temo sensor or absolute sweat, stryd? You may have bt issue. My active look sometimes do not connect first attempt, but it works second attempt.

Hi, I have an Update: last time I went for a run I’ve tried the engo2 again and as always I didn’t have any data available on the glasses. However I’ve continued my training and after half an hour I’ve noticed that the screen in the glasses is now working - since then it works properly every time. I assume that from time to time (or for the first time) it can happen that it takes some time (>5min) to get a proper connection and data available on the screen of the glasses. I hope this info is helpful for others as the engo2 glasses in combination with the Suunto Race is a really nice option for running training.

                  Dear all,

since yesterday, I own a pair of Engo 2 glasses. Connection to my Suunto 9 Peak Pro via the Activelook SuuntoPlus App on the watch works fine.

Am I right, that there are the following restrictions?

                  a) There is no way to customize the data shown in the glasses, when using it via the SuuntoPlus App?
                  b) Hence, there is no way to use different pages of data in the glasses and use the gesture feature to switch between them?

                  Best regards

                  M_C_E

                    Hi, @m_c_e
                    It it seems like that.

I think ActiveLook app or Suunto watch is selecting 3 default data fields depending selected activity.

I hope Suunto will make an update that allows to customize the data fields and screens sent to ActiveLook glasses.

I’m using ActiveLook glasses for kayaking and it shows only distance, heart rate and speed. I’d like to have data fields of Workout timer, Speed, Cadence and Heartrate, but no luck there yet.

I have a Suunto Race S and it’s screen goes dark after 15 sec. after starting activity for battery save, so I can’t see anything from that. Solution for that was to buy ENGO 2 glasses… …but there is no option to custom fields. 😕

I hope the customization is coming sooner than later.

I have engo, and it works fine with my suunto peak pro. But limited information is displayed in comparison to Garmin or Apple watch.

@D-K I test Engo 2 at the moment and for me the glasses with the limited information are useless.
