Distance freezing/stops in exercise.

When exercise the distance i freezing, stops recording. My first thought was problem with the GPS, but the watch never complains on lost signal for satellites.
It happen more and more often. I have changed satellites and restart the watch, no difference. Its seems to work for like 2 km and then it hangs, some times it record the distance for few meters and stop again.
I have a great picture how it looks in Strava. I’m cross-country skiing, not cold outside.
Someone else with same experience? Never had problem like this before.

@mr-blom I didn’t have the same issue, but another one. I experienced a lot of crashes at the beginning of exercises, and the watch restarts right after them. What firmware version is it on your watch? I feel like there is a bug with the latest firmware…

@chargerunner I think the latest one. 2.23.20

@chargerunner I think the problem started in december and escalating. And the new firmware update was by the end of november. So yeah a good point, it can be the firmware.

@mr-blom my problem started after the firmware update, also escalated during the last (two???) months. The peak point was last week, when the watch even ran into an error and asked me to hard reset it. Here is the thread where I talked about my issue, you can have a look. Maybe our problems are related, and involve the firmware, though they don’t look similar
