@renton82 no reason to put a protection ! Never had any scratch on it with my S9b…and no doubt it will be the same on my vertical !

@freeheeler when I preordered the S5 peak, it got delivered even a day or two before it was scheduled. So who knows when you‘l get it ‍️

@renton82 Try 1.4”, something for Garmin Fenix 7X or Enduro 2 or Taxctix 7. I think COROS Vertix 2 is similarly 1.4” but their display is kind of domed.

@Tieutieu i wouldnt bother with a protector either. The only suunto that I accidently scratched was my old spartan trainer. That took slamming it into a cement pole and all it did was make one very small scratch in the plastic which wasnt over the viewable part ofbthe screen. suunto tough is more than tough enough

my S9B took everything I threw on it and while buttons, bezel and housing definitely show signs of an active life, the glass looks brand new

bearing navigation to POI is still there but maps on the watch are not routeable without the phone

I am there also for a preorder of Ti Vertical .

One question i may not have see any answer : what about the charger : is it magnet little stronger than the S9PP one , or something which prevent it to rotate and stop the charge ? I must admit is not really efficient , i would’t rely on putting it into a bag and charge, but as charging is not often mandatory …

@Mitch9 think design should express what it is: high-precision tool Like it very much. Think for Suunto 9 peak the slim ring looks fantastic and for the vertical the new ring suits the character of the watch very much.

@Hristijan-Petreski Hope indeed that charging cable will have a bit stronger magnet because the one of S9PP was really weak ! Any feedback from the testers about that ?
