@Miš-Kan Awesome! Thank you!!

@mikekoski490
I was worried about upgrading from A3PS to S9B because of screen readability, but I found the S9B better. then came peak and pro and I’ve had the impression readability was constantly improved. now the Vertical is again even better -
@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos hi! I downloaded two regions. I did my first test (walk activity) without issue with maps I also used a route during my test.
I did a second test (walk) with and without route and my maps was empty (pictures below). -

mikekoski490 another pic, during workout. HR zones ring looks funny because it’s so thin and thus pixelated and uneven width (especially top one). It would look better to be wider like zone in use
Yes, I saw it already in my S9PP review,
When I update the firmware on my SV, the circle is uglier…you can see the pixels are moving at the edge of circle.

Vertical vs Fenix 7x

@dombo
I was also frequently asking for a backup function, and yes, I still think it would be very useful.
but while I’m setting up my Vertical now, I notice that it is also a chance to clean up and make more space. I am convinced I manage with 5 instead of 7 fields, improve readability even more and can focus more in less datafields.
for this time, I take it as a chance -
I got my Vertical today, and started to set it up after dinner. A god job for a rainy evening… and I think I like it
-
At last… looks great…

@Miš-Kan Great photos. Can you turn the screen on for the Vertical as a comparison? I keep hearing the screen resolution is so much better than 9 Baro or Suunto 9 PP, but I haven’t seen any real world photos yet to compare.
Also can anyone do a series of photos comparing to S9P§ on wrist, height etc please

I like that new analog watchface, it’s a subtle improvement on the current 9PP one with the solid arms. Looking forward to the firmware update on that soon too.
Loved all these photos, thanks for sharing.

@Brad_Olwin if you compare the readability of the displays, is there a difference between the S9P and the vertical, an at least compared with the S9B?
-
@Stefan-Kersting the photos I provided are S9PP and yes Vertical is brighter and resolution appears better too. A world of difference from S9baro.
-
@Brad_Olwin great, I am looking forward to get the Vertical
-
@Stefan-Kersting Ran out of kudos today so….Kudos! It is very nice out on the snow!
-
@Brad_Olwin Snow! OMG where are you?

Tomer’s Take: The ‘Super Soaker Storm System’ on 5/10-5/12 delivered 3-4 feet of snow to Pikes Peak (14,115ft). Photos were taken by Luke Doyle while clearing snow at Glen Cove and higher up. Robust Precipitation Precipitation totals 5/10-5/12. The closest CoCoRaHS observation to Pikes Peak is 3.86" recorded in Manitou Springs.

@Brad_Olwin Fantastic! Thank you. it is indeed a hansom watch
-
@Brad_Olwin I really hope it does t take two weeks to get the watch. Would be nice to use it first in backcountry mode but the max altitude won t unfortunately be 3282 masl
-
The map download is a little bit slow… but I don‘t know if it‘s the watch or my internet? But I think that it‘s a everyday‘s work?

@Brad_Olwin Thanks
