@Highlands Well if you asked specifically for Ukranian flag than I am not sure how will the other side react since I never want to mix politics with my work, hobby and life generally. There are some really sensitive subjects that opiniate and alienate people which I generally try to avoid hence politics are out of my discussions. But if you asked for light blue (being creative ) you might get better results. Again I am all for peace everywhere but knowing human history and politicians this is something I guess will never be true!
-
@Highlands especially if part of the costs would go to humanitarian aid, than surely.
-
@Highlands nope

Hey folks, any insider info when the new silicone straps are going to be back in stock? I would like to get the orange one, but itās sold out almost since the release day. Thnx
-
@Mff73 not next month. Next iteration of software update. That means at least fall. (feature release)
-
@Mff73 The map download is robust - I have used 3 different locations without my phone to download a single map once started; Home, work, hotspot.

Yes, specifically for the flag and certainly no discussion about the war. Every normal country supports Ukraine, so thereās nothing to discuss about. I donāt care about the feelings of āthe other sideā (as you neutrally call the aggressor).
I doubt that Suunto will reply to my suggestion but letās see. -
Just got mine, Black NON solar. Coming from S9PP looks gigantic at first, but not uncomfortable as one might think. Letās see if I can get used to it and how it goes during training ā¦

@fluca Congtrats on your new watch. Canāt wait to read your impressions. For me, the experience of real users is way more important than any review on YouTube.
-
@fluca When you have time, would love to see comparison photos of both on your wrist. Thanks!
-
@fluca very nice!
I really wish the titanium model came in full black. I originally wanted the stainless steel all black model, but I couldnāt get past the dead space of the black ring on the face. at least on the titanium it provides a use for solar charging, but it just seemed like the plain black bezel part on the stainless was a bit of wasted space. i will admit i prefer the all black look instead of the two-tone titanium. -
@Umer-Javed Yeah, I was really impressed when I saw the pic of your wrist with the ambit and the 9pp.

Has anybody experience with the microfiber strap using with the SV? I used one with my S9PPā¦ I liked the soft feeling in daily using, but I also noticed that it was a bit looseā¦ how does it work with the heavier SV?
I just wanted to test it, but my wife likes it so much with her new/ my old S9PPā¦ she donāt want to give it back to meā¦ š„² -
@SuperFlo75 I am using the microfibre strap at home since itās super comfortable. Also for sports sometimes, but I prefer a silicone strap for that. Not because the microfibre one is loose, but because silicone manages sweat better (for me). If youāre worried about inaccurate HR with the strap, Iād recommend a chest strap - Iām always using that.
-
@tomasbartko I really was worried about the heart rate accuracy with the microfiber strip because it feels soft and loose. I will seeā¦ the new silicone strips (athletic 2) are more comfortable than the strips of the S9PP (urban)ā¦

@JonnyKarate I have the full black one. Maybe it eases your mind, that the black space actually has a super important use.
It is where the GPS antenna is located - without it the watch would not have its stellar GNSS performance! -
@Umer-Javed My Suunto Peak and Suunto Vertical.
-
@Egika thatās good to know! I ended up getting the Titanium black one though. Either way, itās a fantastic watch!

@isazi 1hr is much improved. still wish the x axis was distance not time. way more intuitive and useful IMO than time. the elevation graph will show a plateau if you stop at the top of a peak for a while. then later when you analyze your data it wonāt resemble that whatsoever in the real elevation profile.

sorry if already asked.
In the SV manual there is
But do someone notice that if you still long press (little longer) the upper button, when on 500m zoom, then the map is changed from outdoor to dark, then if you do it again from dark to map off, and the again to high contrast and again to map outdoor
