Suunto Vertical: Bug Collection
-
@wmichi had the same since 4 weeks…
-
It’s something really wrong about the heart rate sensor…this is from a 16 km long, and pretty hard bicycle ride to and again home from work.
Is there any update coming soon? It’s so far off from reality.
-
@Iggge Is this from the OHR or from the Polar H10? If this comes from the H10 and the batteries are new then the issue probably comes from the strap, less probable but possible static from your clothes or faulty sensor, I do not think it comes from the watch because it only reads what the sensor sends and it is working well for other people.
If it comes from the OHR, bike and watch OR are not very friends, hands on handlebar tend to move the watch. A part from this, for some people, WHR doesn’t work well. -
@Iggge change/clean the strap, if you use it regularly (3/5 times a week) in one year could be worn.
-
@cosme-costa I just changed to a new one. Same results with the new as the old one.
Edit: I see now that you was referring to my H10 strap, and that was not used this time.
-
-
@cosme-costa Oh! It’s from OHR and not the H10 worked fine last year so it’s strange it so far off now.
This is from last year
-
I reported the HR sensor issue to Suunto support and I have to say, they are not really efficient they proposed to send the watch to tech support while the issue is from their last update.
-
Hello to everyone, bicycle mod, no hr, with bike pode, just show 300 kcal used on 100km ride with 1500d+
-
@drunners in my experience without HR calories aren’t really calculated.
-
@Audaxjoe thanks, that’s ok but it’s better to show a 0 value instead a so wrong number

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos @isazi I’ve noticed now that Vertical deactivates vibration below 20%. No vibration for alarms or auto-laps in running. My main concern are the alarms though…20% is almost one full week.
I’m on latest FW 2.33.14 Vertical SolarDo you know if this will change in the future? Is there any workaround or setting to avoid this automatic vibration deactivation?
Cheers
Pedro -
@plopes73 I’ve noticed that vibrations are shorter and lighter (auto laps) but nor really deactivated, did you notice that?
-
@plopes73 I also noticed this, I guess is a “battery saving” feature, but as you said with 20% you still have battery for several days, I would like this activated under 10% or something similar.
-
@jjpaz no, on my watch vibration are totally disabled under 20% , except for notifications if I recall . As soon as I get under 20% I’ll test it again.
-
@plopes73
it is a known issue. I am always surprised myself when this happens, because it happens so rarely
I have noticed that I don’t look at battery life estimation and on charge level… the missing vibration tells me it’s about time to charge in 3-5 days -
@jjpaz Hello, I have lost this widget, where can I find this recovery widget? and problems with maps location Ukraine
-
i have a strange new “problem” lately of minor importance though:
the oHR is turning on at random times while i have turned it off . The difference to the previous situation is that I enabled the widget for Blood oxygen (and its metrics)
I don’t really mind about the oxygen because it typically gives erroneous valus of no interest to me but for some reason i tend to relate those two things

@trailcafe Hello. Lately I’ve had this error: the media player seems to be greyed out, music is playing, even the track titles are changing, but it’s not controllable with the watch. I’ve tried powering the watch off/on, doing a soft reset, removing and basically adding the “media control” option, but nothing helps. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? This error appeared long after the last SW update.
-
@Martin-Vrska I have the same; where it does not allow you to control the media from the touch screen. It will also hang up or not switch between various media platforms (music, podcasts, etc.) that are both native and added to my Android phone.
