Auto Pause for Cycling

Pre Suunto, every watch or bike computer I used had an auto pause when speed dropped to 0. It was helpful not to have to pause and restart a ride in order to take out those time sitting at traffic lights, taking photos, taking a leak, etc. I haven’t seen that the Suunto 9 Peak, or any Suunto, has that capability. Am I missing something?

@revcp well, all Suunto watches I have, including the S9 Peak, have auto-pause in the activity options

@revcp If you’re new to Suunto watches, you need to know that before each workout, it’s advisable to look at the Options menu in the watch. This allows you to set your watch up the way you need to, like selecting the screen colour, pause options, apps etc. However AutoPause has always been an option in Suunto sports watches.

@Steven-Limmer of course you can toggle the settings also during workout. No need to know in advance.
It is in the options accessible with a long middle button press. -
