@Mff73 I’ve looked at that, but the phone’s own hotspot doesn’t even show up. It’s a plain text name and a plaintext password. iPhone 12, iOS is up to date and ‘maximise compatibility’ is checked. You can’t change the frequency of the phone’s own hotspot

          Ah, iOS ?
I just checked with Android, and it is working fine.
          Sorry, can’t help more.

@arpoodle I just tried with Iphone 11 and it worked. On 12 you need to have both wifi and bluetooth on and ”maximise compatibility” switched on to use 2,4 GHz. On 11 it works even without ”maximise compatibility” because it’s using 2,4 GHz native.

@Jugger It’s just not showing up in the list of available networks in the Suunto app.

I had to disable personal hot spot.
                reboot my phone
                re-enable personal hotspot

                And then it showed up.

                Fixed now.

@arpoodle Good that it’s working. Did you connect wireless network through Suunto app? I just went to wireless network settings is SA and hotspot appeared there.

@Jugger Yes, via the Suunto app. I don’t see another way to add new networks

@arpoodle I find that disable/enable the hotspot will usually work on iOS iPhone 13Pro.

@Brad_Olwin Tried that originally. I had to reboot my phone. Works now…
