I’m excited to see what’s coming and I really hope that it doesn’t replace the previous top model Vertical after such a short time. According to rumors, the watch will be called Race, have a rotary dial and NFC.

From what I’ve heard it should not replace the SV. I hope we will have the sv update this Friday too !!

@Tieutieu the update for Vertical needs few more iterations of testing, will probably come in few weeks if everything goes well, but not on Friday. Friday is for something else (some say bright)

Hypothetically, online shops often create their websites with new products in advance… and these sometimes leak and can be found, if you know how to search.
If I were interested, I would try multiple alternative search engines and use quotation marks for my query to search for the exact phrase. To get more relevant results, I would also consider including color variants that Suunto frequently uses. If I would search for the SV, I would use e.g. “suunto vertical all black”

@DMytro my guess would be the lack of solar and lower autonomy due to difference in display tech.

@MeazzaS9 screen seems to be oled. Well, battery life seems to be ok. I was wondering more from HW perspective. Perhaps no dual band or smth else.

@DMytro I wonder if the new Suunto Race is trying to undercut the newly released Polar Vantage V3? From that previous post, if true, the new Suunto is 150 EUR less (449 vs 599 for V3 and also 599 for the Vertical base model currently), unless my math is wrong.

I think solar charging will not be there, I didn‘t find this in the FCC papers… and I think the barometer will not be there…
