The ability to resume a previous activity

I have had issues on longer activities like hikes in which the device stopped recording HR, the only way I found to restore it was to end the activity and start a new one, and on occasion, I have accidently ended an activity. This results in many separate smaller activities. I would love to be able to “resume” a previously ended activity on my wearable.

This area is for App suggestions not for watch, anyway afair this function (resume) has already been requested/suggested.

Furthermore this specific case (HR stopping recording) could be a bug/issue, but you didn’t mention the watch model you’re using.
