@Saketo-Nemo Yes, really strange. Did you enter to the watch icon? I ask you this because when I use other tabs (home, diary, people, etc) all run smothly without this notification. But when I go into the watch icon, there the app display me this alert.

@silentvoyager I find the whole app very disorganised. The summary and stock photos is the worst.

Different color for uphill and downhill is already there for the Android app. It also has details on the individual downhills, while ios just shows 10min or so laps… Just bring it to the ios version as well

Sorry everyone, i was focused on last sentence where ETA was mentionned. Yep, distance is not (AFAIK) on other screen, must be added in custom field. –> agree with idea to add some more metric (customizable) on breadcrum view.

@Neil-Sinar I had similar problem on Windows 8.1. Simple reinstall of Suuntolink wasn’t enough… You might need to uninstall your watch from Device manager and check for any possible problems there… Basically follow these steps: Disconnect the watch. In your PC go to Control panels - System - Device manager. Try to search for any problems there (marked with yellow triangle with “!”), especially in Ports (COM & LPT). If there’s Unknown device somewhere with such a symbol: right mouse click - Uninstall. If there was no problem, connect your watch, try to find it in the Device manager (under Ports probably) and Uninstall it. Disconnect watch. Uninstall Suuntolink. Restart computer. You might again try to check Device manager, there should not be any problem there nor anything named Suunto… Reinstall Suuntolink. Connect the watch and pray This should completely reinstall the Suunto watch driver (which sometimes isn’t done during simple reinstall of Suuntolink) and deal with all the problems…

@Lozen perhaps I have misunderstood the topic. “jet stream pool” == “endless pool”? if thats the case, please forget my comment, because I have no idea how could it be measured

@sebastian but honestly, those are very good ideas. I was also thinking about HR wheel when it’s locked to certain zone. Normally HR wheel segment is highlighted when in current HR zone but it highlights only the locked (pre selected) zone if in HR zone lock. So let’s say that I want to run in Z3 only - the interface could lit up Z2 in green (speed up) if I’m too low or Z4 in red if I’m too fast. The HR wheel is ideal for this as it’s always visible on regular screens. This way the “slow down” and “speed up” notifications could be fired up less often (for example if the trend is constant for longer).

@mff73 Yes, with automatic I not mean that auto-detect the segment or auto repeat in this special segment for the same sport mode. I imagined some simple: when you set the sport modes that you have a field to add the tags list for this sport mode, no matter of the duration, location or intensity. Like when you set the displays and their data/fields. You start this sport mode and the list of tags automatically will added to the description of the activity. Obviously like you say is 1000 times better. @Brad_Olwin Totally agree.

Thx for all your input. As a software engineer myself, I understand it’s not an easy task! I’m already happy to hear your input and see some analysis. I can only hope that one day it would maybe be possible. In general, I’m definitely very happy with the app and my Suunto 9 Peak! Keep up the good work!

S+ apps and guides have now much better descriptions, thanks to the introduction of the S+ store.
