With apps we will have solved some limitations we have: Interval complex structured workouts: we could have training peaks app or data field. Follow a plan: TrainingPeaks, FinalSurge… whatever you like. Custom data field: ascend speed, running effectiveness, virtual partner… In cycling the apps are very important in the indoor sessions: Xert, Zwift workouts… Swimming: There are apps from external platforms in iOS and Garmin where you can follow a plan… I don’t think we will see it in the actual spartan/5-9 watches… but once the ambit 3 is gone… maybe…

@Mff73 I have not expected from myself that I would make more and more use of the route function in the watch. It works quite well, despite some bugs… and it is very convenient for MTB and running

I am resurrectign this 6 year old feature request… Is there now any way to export a csv or similar fromt he Suunto App? Has anythign changed? Do the two options discussed above still apply?

But the known bug is the breadcrumb screen on indoor activity when designing a custom sport mode. This should be fixed.

Thank you for the link to this post. Already I supported the web app however I don’t like web dependency. Web access could be necessary for some syncing and some planning but shouldn’t be for analysis and copying activities from watch to unit having far more better memory capabilities.

Though on the other hand, if there would more services providing this feature, there would be more interest in OSM community to maintain and improve those tags.
