@Wilson75 personnaly, i use Android LocusMap and import all my activities in it, so that i have an offline and mobile repository of activities. And in Locus, there is a simple way to search all activities near the center of the map position, and then just zoom and click on the track to open the one suits to you. Once found, i can decide to open it or not in SuuntoApp depending on what i want to do with it

@Egika That makes sense ! my 2 cents would be to ignore auto-tag in the condition to allow rapid editing or not ? this way we still have the cool auto tags, the ability to quickly edit our activities once its done, and then comment as needed, best of all worlds !

@timecode said in Feature Request – Two-Way Sync Between App and Watch (HR Zones, Pace, Power, Weight, etc.): @Mathis-.-Pct would also like to see it. I also wish there would be an option to restore settings from the app itself if you for example get a new watch - so you don’t loose custom sports, or don’t have to calibrate HRV ranges for two weeks again. A backup option would be surely welcome, all the data collected by the SA should be copied on a local storage or on the cloud.

This really needs to happen. The fact that the API isn’t available for personal use was really disappointing so now I’m having to hack together getting the data I need from apple health but as mentioned in this post some of the important data isn’t even sync’d to apple health.

@Alpha-156.42 Are you saying they had Garmin devices, purchased Suuntos, and are now buying new Garmin devices? That’s gonna cost some serious $$$ (or €€€ or whatever). Especially if it’s any of the new Garmins. It’s probably just a case of preferring what you’re used to. Like others, I’ve tried all the main brands (Suunto, Garmin, Polar, Coros, Apple) and prefer Suunto for the simplicity of the software and the watches themselves. I will say that if you like complete control of your data, Garmin may have the edge as they have a robust mobile and web-based platform. You can also live life with a Garmin and never connect it to a phone, instead using a physical cable connection to a computer or syncing via wi-fi (something I appreciate). But saying that Garmin is less complicated? That doesn’t sound right.

I don’t like that Suunto in various places mixes up distance from cycling with distance from running though. These should definitely be separate. Time is fine.

@slashas in iOS the routes sync automatically with no direct sync of anything else. It makes a lot of sense to update GPS when updating routes. But without a cellular connection, GPS cannot be updated. I think the ideas are good but probably only a few would use them. Most may not use force touch.

Works from Notification Center, but not from Notification when phone is unlocked, as well Notification is not marked as read in app even if you have checked that notification, so you need to press bell and notification again…

I have to admit I took the idea mostly from *armin because it made - and still makes sense to me - that you aim to reach a specific amount (so it is one goal) of intensity time. And times where you push harder count with a bigger number, according to the intensity. So a race usually results in more intensity minutes than a low-HR activity.

@suzzlo I know it was a joke, that is why you were sent that answer. But seriously, the testers work hard and with the group here can identify issues and promote enhancements.
